Jackson Wrap-up

A Fantastic Weekend!
On Saturday evening we were treated to an amazing dinner by the Kantack and Lucy families: pesto and tomato ziti with all the trimmings. Sunday morning was another cold one, but little wind and lots of sunshine. Waxing was easy - most of the team raced on a green binder and extra blue. The 5/10km classic races were just as successful as the crit, with Williams earning another 4 podium finishes. Keith Kantack and Alex Taylor were a 1-2 sweep, with Caleb Lucy not far back in 5th place. Kirsten Johnson took 2nd and Alice was right behind her in 3rd place. Full Results Here.
I'v also uploaded all photos from weekend on Picasa.

Team pasta dinner with the Kantack's/Lucy's: Phil is stuffed, Casey works on dessert (probably his third helping) and Maddy just is.

Evan and Sarah trade massages;a necessary part of recovery in between races.

Coach Fisher talks to Ian and Atay about strategy before the race.

Maddy and Hannah, penguins at heart, decide it will be most comfortable to sit outside in the cold rather than in the lodge while they kill time before their race.

As he was sitting out of the race, Evan was our wax tester this morning.

Sarah in the finish pen: a great race!

Maddy, Hanah, Sarah, cool down after their race.
