Big Splash 2012

The team had a tremendous Big Splash this year...although as always there were some who were disgruntled at the thought of waking up several hours before dawn to run Berlin. Our goal for the morning, making it up Berlin Mountain to see sunrise, was dashed when we realized there wasn't much of a view to be had. As a fitting consolation prize though, partway up we discovered the first snow of the season, and it all was worth it. Homecoming was another great success of the day, although as it got colder we realized we'd spent way too much of our heat energy earlier in the day running through the blustery Taconics. Long live the Big Splash!
