Best Winter in the Berkshires

I was in the store yesterday and a lady was telling me that it was legit, she had HEARD it on the radio: this winter was ranked in among the 18 WORST winters in HISTORY!

"You don't ski, do you?!" I asked.

Prospect received ANOTHER foot of snow this past week. We went up for an easy skate yesterday and although it was pretty windy - even in the woods, where normally we can take shelter from the gusty elements - the snow was fresh and clean and really fast for skating.  Plus, the sun shining periodically through the trees and canvassing a sunset over the fields created some gorgeous images in which to close out our day.

It is taper-down time for the team, with three going to NCAA's and most of the rest of the team planning on competing in the Bretton Woods Marathon next Saturday.

So we are keeping the training easy and short, and just enjoying having such awesome conditions STILL.
What an amazing, BEST winter for skiing in our history books!
