After a terrible downpour of rain on Sunday, Monday night saw a couple inches of snow fall in town. This morning we headed to Prospect and discovered more than double that amount on the trails - nearly 8 inches of powder! The sun was shining, but part of the sky was heavy with dark clouds - promise of more snow to come?!

Sarah is all smiles: it is going to be much easier to coop up with the books for the rest of the day after spending the morning in a winter wonderland.
