Wednesday's weather was pretty wet here in Williamstown, but we managed to sneak in a great 30-30 (30 seconds on, 30 seconds off) workout up to the summit of Mt. Greylock. The leaves cleared out pretty well when the intervals got into full swing and skiing into the fog was pretty awesome. No views, but a great day on the newly paved roads of Greylock with very little traffic (we might have seen 2 cars the whole workout). The roller ski race up Greylock is just over a week away, so it gave our freshmen an idea of the amount of vertical that will be covered. The actual race is up the Lanesboro side of the mountain and we did the 30-30 workout up the North Adams side. The Schnellsteigen is scheduled for 10/28, so we'll be seeing a lot of the Mt. Greylock summit in the next couple of weeks!
