Yesterday's roller ski race wrapped up a great intensity week and gave the team a chance to test their fitness and race day routine. Besides Isaac's broken skate roller ski and leaving Phil behind in the locker room we all made it to the start ready to roll. The race itself is mostly uphill (on perfect pavement), but there are a few pieces of rolling terrain that break up the climb. The wind was a bit chilly at the top of the mountain, but Berkshire Outfitters set up a great area inside for the awards and raffle with complimentary hot beverages (appreciated by all!).
As a whole the team saw some excellent results and improvements from last year. Will Wicherski was our top male skier in a time of 47:09 and Christina was our top female skier in a time of 59:42. THANK YOU BERKSHIRE OUTFITTERS for putting together the super fun event!
