The onslaught of snow, which we knew was coming some time today, started early this morning. Since the driving was treacherous we decided to stay on campus and ski the golf course. Though it had been freshly groomed yesterday, the snow was coming down fast and there was already several inches of fresh and wind-blown powder on the ground, so that when Mark and I headed out first to ski in the loop it was at times very difficult to even find the track!
The team did ski in a pretty good loop around the golf course perimeter and then completed 15 minutes of rolling 30/30 and 15/15 speeds, before returning indoors with crusty lashes and a good pile of snow on our heads.
