Team Domination puts mark on Eastern Cup field

Team Domination stayed for an extra day in Stowe to race the 10/15km classic Eastern Cup Race at Trapps. We were treated to an amazing dinner by Diane and Andreas Halvorsen at their home in Stowe while a snow storm raged outside. We drove back to the Hob Nob Hotel very carefully and then listened to the thunder and lightning outside while we hoped the classic tracks held up for the next morning's races!
Fortunately, the temperatures stayed below freezing and the cloud cover ensured steady temps throughout the three hours of racing, so that we happily raced on hard wax.

The races of the day were won by Kalle Jahn, in 15th place, and Ian Nesbitt, in 17th. They both posted their best points of the year and Kalle was the second junior (US) to finish. Sweet!
