These pictures never got posted last year, as they got lost on my camera hard drive, so I thought I would drag them out now. . . .
Exactly one year ago, before we even had a chance to ski up at Prospect, we experienced a snow storm overnight and into the day in Williamstown. The roads were too bad to drive anywhere, but a handful of adventurous skiers decided to take a Tour of the town - starting on campus, through the trails behind Cole field, up behind the woods on Main Street, and back to campus by light of the street lamps. . . . . including one VERY cold stream crossing. . . .
Stream Crossing!! Dimitri grits his teeth
Keith and Alice hurry to get their socks and boots back on VERY cold feet.
Everyone makes it to the other side without getting swept away by the raging river. . .
Tromping uphill to explore the woods
And then downhill: Evan gets a kick out of watching Alice navigate the rutted path
Casey hops a couple streams en route
Arriving back at campus after dark. . . .
